Hello! Happy Mother’s Day! 😁 I am still into adventure books this month, so here are the books I’m reading in May. Let’s begin! This is the final book in the Wingfeather Saga. I have… More
Hello! I hope you are enjoying your day!
I love to read.. Reading for me is a way to escape the pressures of life.
Right now I am reading four books, They are On The Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness, Harry Potter and The Half-blood Prince, A Wrinkle In Time, and Warriors: Into The Wild.
The book below is written by Andrew Peterson, he is a very creative writer and knows how to make things exciting! 😁
A Wrinkle in Time is a semi old book written by Madeleine L’engle. She has a wonderful imagination and it really shows in her books!
Harry Potter is a series and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth our of eight books written by J.K. Rowling and there are also Harry Potter movies.
Then, the last book that I’m reading is written by Erin Hunter. He had also written a series called Survivors and there are tons more books in the Warriors series.
Thanks so much for reading!
Have a great day!
Hello! I’ve recently started calligraphy, and I really enjoy it so I got some Tombow Dual Brush Pens in the pastel colors. I really like them!
They come in a package like this, and my pack came with ten colors,
This is what the colors look like 😊
One side has a brush…
The other has a fine tip.
Then I practiced, and practiced some more…because practice makes perfect! 🙂
Have a great day
How are you enjoying this rainy day? My brothers and I have made the best of it by making a fort! (They made the outside and I did the inside 😉)
Let’s get started:
This is the outside. Yes, it is quite small, but when you get into the inside it is quite spacious!
This is the inside…
The roof is made of these two blankets and in the top left corner is a lantern that lights the whole thing up. Doesn’t it look like the sky?!?
Well, I hope you are making the best of this rainy day!
Today I am going to tell you about my family’s two pets: Kion and George Washington, Jr. Kion is a cat, and he is mine; George Washington is a lizard and he is my brother’s. My other brother shares both of the pets. 😉
Here is a picture of Kion laying on my bed:
Isn’t he so cute! 😸
This is probably my favorite picture of the whole post! 😹 I honestly don’t know… he was just laying there with his tongue out and I took his picture.
Then he decided that it was time for a nap. 💤
Now we will move onto George Washington…
He is sleeping on the sunroom chair (he loves the sun)
Lastly another picture of George, in the same spot but awake!
Well, till my next post!
Happy new year!!!
Hope you have a great start to 2019
Hello! Today, I am going to show you what I got for Christmas… I was going to do this on Christmas, but for some reason our internet wasn’t working 😛
Also, I want to point out that by no means am I trying to brag, I just want to share with you what I received for Christmas!
First off, from my parents I got a hand lettering booklet/guide that teaches you all the tips and tricks of hand lettering!
Next, trying to go with the same topic, I got some cards and envelopes and a magnetic poetry kit.
I love puzzles, and my brother got me this 3D owl puzzle. This one is only level one, but it is super difficult! I think I’ve only gotten ten or so pieces together! 😀
I love this book series The Land Of Stories. The picture above is the last book… I totally recommend you reading the series. 😉
Ok, from the picture above you can tell I also love candy — especially chocolate! In the bags above they contain: Hershey chocolates, Candy turtles (caramel pecans dipped in chocolate), and more Yorks ♥
Now these are a healthier candy, they are all organic, naturally flavored and colored, Strawberry, Cherry, and Raspberry lollipops! Yum!
Then for my big gift from my parents I got an iPad and an Apple Pencil.
This is what it looks like out of the box and with the case on!
My mom surprised me with my own umbrella — I guess she doesn’t like getting wet when I steal hers. Oops!
From my Nana I got a Kavu bag with a matching wallet. ♥
Also from my Nana, she gave me some inks and a Stamp that has my name on it and says handmade with love
Then I got some lotions and some chapstick, and in the picture below I got some bathroom essentials.
Then lastly I got some clothes from my Mimi… I got one more shirt than you see on the pictures below, but when I took these pictures I was wearing the shirt! Lol!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my what I got for Christmas and I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
Can you believe today is Decmember 24?
I can’t…! Today, I am going to share with you my family tradition that we have done for as long as I can remember. Every year we go to my Nana’s house on Christmas Eve (today) and open present from Aunts and Uncles, eat, celebrate the birth of Jesus, and just hang out as a family! ❤️
Also, we play this game where you all sit in a circle, one person puts on oven mits and try’s to open a present that has multiple layers of paper around it… then the rest of the people take turns rolling dice and if you get a six you get the present and have to try to open it!!! It’s a lot of fun!!! There is something in the box usually money or a gift card!
Merry Christmas ~Birdie
ONE DAY TILL CHRISTMAS
Hello! Welcome to Countdown to Christmas Day 1! I will be posting everyday this Week, even on Christmas — which is only two days away!!! Can you believe it!?! I don’t know about you, but this year has really flown by.
Today, I am going to show you my piano… I know it isn’t very Christmasy but you can play Christmas music on it!
Let’s get started!
This is what it looks like, on it is painted, “It Is Well.” I have taken piano for almost two years, and I love it! ♥
This is a close up of the “It Is Well.”
Then lastly a picture of the keys. I hope you enjoyed this first post and are enjoying your Christmas break!
Merry Christmas, ~Birdie
Hello! Can you believe there is only one week until Christmas?!? Today was my last day of school before Christmas break… when do you get off? Do you have Christmas break??
Here is another tradition, this is one we do on Christmas Day… we have a big breakfast with my grandparents after we open presents! One thing that we added to the tradition last year is, now that I take piano lessons, I play Christmas carols while my mom and Grandmas get everything on the table!
Do you have a family tradition? If so… what is it?
Well, I hope you enjoyed this post!! Christmas is almost here!
ONLY ONE WEEK (7 DAYS) TILL CHRISTMAS 🎄
Happy New Year!!
Hope you have a great start to 2019!!
